My name is Lori Pickert. I write about children and learning at the Camp Creek Blog.

My family calls the midwest home and we venture outward from there. At home, we live on a bluff in woods and meadow overlooking fields of corn and soybeans. When we go to the mountains, the beach, or the desert, we travel in our ’91 VW van or our ’73 Airstream.
