Wow, lori! what a great drawing! you have inspired me, yet again! A year or so ago I bought my 5 yo a fish from the fishmonger, for her to just cut up & investigate. she loved it & was particlary interested in the eyes, which we kept in our fridge until they shrivelled up (!) This lead to lots of questions...
A few days ago, she asked could she do it again. This time I will lay out her pencils & paper with the knife :)

What an impressive accomplishment! I don't imagine one could forget what's inside a fish after drawing it in such detail.

I am checking this out more closely this morning and can't get over all of the details. Very impressive and interesting...I especially like the descriptive notes (can't read all of them but I get the gist of them..pink from the blood vessels). Did he do a fish dissection or was it from a book? I am always fascinated by what's on the "inside" so thanks for the peek.

(actually he really *really* wants to buy a live lobster from the grocery store! ha!)
