Oh, I love nature collections. We are actually working on a found items and seashell windchime/mobile this week. We'll see how it turns out! :)
I have collected rocks from everywhere I have lived/visited since Jr. High. I have much put away, but have many rocks out and my boys know the stories where they are from. Love it!

Hello again, I just wrote a post about our nature collection and posted some pictures... you can see them here and feel free to use them! Thank you for the inspiration. I love Camp Creek, and this is an equally lovely blog! Patricia
I recently moved and returned all our bird nests, rocks, feathers pine cones seeds etc. to the wilderness. However, this means we can start fresh. My son seems to be a walking nature collection I find baskets of leaves rocks and other treasures simply accrue in his wake.

Oh how fun, I'll try and contribute another time, we don't have much right at the moment, everything is soaking wet :(
